UPDATE:

The show was a great success and thousands turned out on the night to join in the fun, even though the subject matter and very reason why we were there was somewhat grim  (maybe not the right word to use but usually you know what I mean) it was more about celebrating the talents of not only the professional performers but the kids as well, those who don't get the recognition they deserve.

The real message of the evening was showing what HAD been achieved and the possibilities for the future - all it takes is just a few pounds here and there, loose change, anything really, it ALL makes a difference, and what a difference it makes!!

Congratulations to Patti and all the team who worked so hard to make it happen, you work won't go unrewarded I am sure, even if you only reward you receive is the knowledge and the pride in what you have done and continue to do, I am sure this is more than enough for you all.

As long as there are people like you in the world.......
